FAIRY TALES FOR ADULTS - A SPECIAL PRESENTATION ON ZOOM brought to you by WVPL

Fairy tales are a profound force of storytelling, extending far beyond the nursery into film, advertising, novels, politics, propaganda, music, and more.

In this talk, folklorists Dr. Sara Cleto and Dr. Brittany Warman explore the two intertwining branches of these tales: traditional folkloric fairy tales and literary fairy tales.

Due to Unforeseen Circumstances, this program is postponed and will be held in September.

AI for Seniors

Join us for a special session about AI designed especially for seniors.  We will learn about AI and how we can use it in our lives and learn how to detect AI scams too.

Alisa Dupuy of the Ladies of History returns to Ambler Library with a performance to celebrate America's 250th.

Alisa will portray Annis Boudinot Stockton, American poet, patriot and wife and mother-in-law of two signers of the Declaration of Independence.

These events will be held once a month and provide an opportunity for people living with dementia to socialize with new friends, enjoy refreshments and participate in a variety of activities in a safe and welcoming setting.

This is the last day of play at Wissahickon Valley Public Library, Blue Bell due to the renovation plans.

Please join us at the Montgomery Mall starting on the first Friday in October, 10/2. Look for us in the Food Court at 12:30 pm.
